Behind the Design

This design celebrates the blue-footed booby through a composition that connects the terrestrial and marine worlds of the Galápagos. The illustration shows it perched on a black volcanic rock, while the lower part of its body appears to be submerged underwater, reflecting its close relationship with the ocean.

Lava cacti, Darwin’s cotton, supirosa (Lantana peduncularis), and other island plants are woven into its plumage. These botanical elements add color, texture, and depth, transforming the bird into a small living landscape that brings together the volcanic strength, vegetation, and sea of the Galápagos.
Description

Its thick webbing handles allow it to be carried comfortably by hand or over the shoulder. It can also be folded for easy storage in a suitcase, backpack, or vehicle.

Its invisible protective finish helps repel water-based liquids, accidental splashes, and dust, while its abrasion resistance reduces pilling caused by regular use and washing. The base fabric is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and according to the manufacturer’s technical specifications, its recycled content is backed by the RCS and GRS 4.0 standards.

Each bag is handmade and printed using sublimation technology, allowing us to reproduce detailed artwork, vibrant colors, and rich blacks. The inks are certified to OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT.

Care Instructions

Machine wash separately at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
Do not mix light and dark colors.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
Do not soak, twist, or wring.
Remove all detergent residue completely to protect the water-repellent finish.
Tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry in the shade.
Do not store while damp.
Ironing is not required. If necessary, use a protective cloth and a maximum temperature of 110°C.
Avoid contact with rough surfaces, sharp objects, or edges that could snag the fabric.
