We believe it is difficult to love what we do not know, and even harder to protect what we have never formed a connection with. That is why everything begins with curiosity. With going out, walking, observing, and listening. With taking the time to truly know a place, discover its species, understand its landscapes, and connect with the people and stories that make it unique.

Ecuador is our starting point. From the Galápagos Islands to the Andes, the Chocó forests, and the Amazon, we explore one of the most biodiverse places on Earth in search of stories worth telling.

Island Spirit

Born from the Galápagos: ocean, volcanoes, wind, isolation, evolution, extraordinary wildlife, and that unique feeling of freedom that islands inspire.

Andean Spirit

Born from the Andes: high altitude, páramo, mountains, fog, birds, trails, culture, and landscapes that force you to look further.

Amazon Spirit

Born from the Amazon: jungle, rivers, humidity, vibrant life, and an overwhelming connection to the roots of the earth.

We walk, travel, photograph, research, and observe. We discover species, landscapes, and stories, and interpret them through design.

A giant tortoise. A spectacled bear hidden in the forest. The flight of a hummingbird. An iguana warming itself on volcanic rock. The shape of a leaf. The colors of a mountain. Every encounter can become an idea. And every idea can become an illustration, a photograph, a story, or an object capable of carrying that experience far beyond the place where it began.

Doing things with love also means doing them responsibly.

We do not believe in producing simply for the sake of producing. If we are going to create something new, we want it to have a reason to exist.

It should be thoughtfully designed. Useful. Made to last. Full of identity. It should tell a story and be something worth keeping long after the journey has ended.

That is why we care as much about the way something is made as we do about the final result: the materials we choose, the people we work with, the technology we invest in, and the waste we generate.

We invest in better processes and production technologies that meet environmental standards, reduce unnecessary materials, and constantly look for better ways to make the most of our resources.

We do not claim to be perfect. We simply want to keep doing better.

593 Origins designs and produces in Ecuador. Behind every piece are hands, knowledge, and meaningful work: designers, illustrators, artisans, seamstresses, small workshops, producers, and people who make it possible to transform an idea into something real.We want to create jobs, strengthen local suppliers, open opportunities for women, and build relationships that can grow alongside us.

We believe a business can create wealth while also creating and sharing opportunities. Because a responsible brand should not only ask how much it can grow. It should also ask who it can bring along as it grows.

Growing with purpose is also a way of caring

Conservation requires knowledge and commitment, but it also requires economies that work.

A strong business can create jobs, pay fairly, train people, invest in technology, develop local suppliers, support initiatives, and bring resources to places that have historically had fewer opportunities.

That is why we do not see economic growth and purpose as opposing forces. We want to grow so that we can do more.

Produce better. Create more opportunities. Invest responsibly. Tell more stories. Reach more people. And, over time, give more back to the places that continue to inspire us.

Building community

To truly know a place, you have to be there. You have to walk through it, listen to it, and spend time with those who know it best: communities, naturalists, guides, researchers, photographers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and travelers. Because a territory is more than its wildlife and plant life. It is also the people who call it home, their knowledge, their crafts, their stories, their culture, and the ways in which they relate to nature.

We want 593 Origins to become a meeting point between these worlds. A community brought together by something simple and deeply human: our capacity to be amazed by the natural world.

Ecuador, told differently

We want to build an Ecuadorian brand capable of traveling the world. A brand that tells the story of Ecuador through its biodiversity, design, knowledge, landscapes, and people.

We do not want to create a souvenir that loses its meaning when the journey ends. We want to create something that allows the journey to continue.

A piece that brings back the memory of an island you walked across, a bird you saw for the first time, the sound of a forest, a mountain you crossed, or a species whose name you learned along the way.

Something that, years later, can still take you back to that moment. Because carrying 593 Origins means carrying a story. It means carrying a piece of Ecuador with you.
