Behind the Design

This design celebrates the blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii), one of the most emblematic birds of the Galápagos. The illustration highlights its elegant silhouette, long bill, intense gaze, and, of course, its unmistakable blue feet, a symbol of a species deeply connected to the sea.

Flowers, leaves, and botanical details are woven into its body as an artistic element that adds color and texture, while the waves, the birds in flight, and the navigation-inspired graphic elements evoke its coastal life and the exploratory spirit of the islands. Inside, we incorporate padding and a full lining, creating an additional protective layer for the laptop and preventing the device from resting directly against the outer structure of the bag.

Each piece is cut, assembled, and finished in our partner artisan workshops led by women, with careful attention to seams, construction, and finishing details to create a product designed for frequent use.
