Behind the Design

This design brings together three of the most iconic boobies of the Galápagos: the blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii), the Nazca booby (Sula granti), and the red-footed booby (Sula sula).

The illustration highlights their colors, forms, and different moments of life—from nesting and raising chicks to resting among the vegetation—creating a small celebration of the diversity of seabirds that inhabit the archipelago.

Our camping mugs combine the classic look of expedition-style mugs with exclusive illustrations inspired by the biodiversity of Galápagos and Ecuador.

Their enameled metal body makes them practical for travel, camping, outdoor activities, or simply enjoying your favorite drink at home. With an approximate capacity of 350 ml / 11 oz, they are a comfortable size for coffee, tea, and other beverages.

Each illustration is applied to the surface through sublimation, allowing colors and details to wrap around the mug and transforming a functional object into a piece full of identity.

The mug is made with an enameled metal structure, a format traditionally associated with camping mugs because of its combination of light weight and durability. A stainless steel rim completes its characteristic look.

Our illustrations are applied to the surface through sublimation, transforming each mug into a graphic piece inspired by Ecuador’s wildlife, landscapes, and natural elements.

The result combines a simple and functional object with the visual language of 593 Origins: nature, travel, and design in a piece made to be used again and again.

The result combines a simple and functional object with the visual language of 593 Origins: nature, travel, and design in a piece made to be used again and again.Wash after each use with water, mild detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge.
Hand washing is recommended to help preserve the illustration.
Avoid metal scrubbers and abrasive cleaners that may damage the enamel or printed surface.
Dry completely before storing.
Avoid strong impacts that may chip or damage the enamel finish.
Do not use in a microwave, due to its metal construction.
Do not place directly over an open flame unless this use is specifically supported by the manufacturer’s technical specifications.
If the interior enamel becomes significantly damaged or begins to chip, discontinue use for beverages.
